This thriller is about a highly trained group of teenagers who covertly protect the children of the world's most important people. Connor Reeves, 14, is a kickboxing champion who gets recruited into Bodyguard. After just a few weeks of training he is sent on a vital mission to protect the daughter of the President of the United States of America, the stylish and rebellious Alicia.
Connor faces a dangerous mixture of secret service distrust, an unruly principal (Alicia) and a ruthless terrorist cell. With the continuous threats against the presidential family Connor must always be on guard against assassins and kidnappers. When his worst fears are realised he must remain level headed in the face of death.
This is one of the best children's action thrillers I've read with a gripping plot and brilliant finale, 10 out of 10. If you enjoy Alex Rider, Young Bond or Cherub then you'll love this.
