Willow's babysitting for a friend, when the baby gets possessed - or whatever it is that has got into the baby - that has made the baby grow wings!!
While Willow babysits the demon baby, Buffy's out fighting vampires and security guards with Giles . . .
Xander's out with his new buddy Hutch, Oz is practicing with his band, and Cordelia seems like the only free person to help Willow out with her problems. But she doesn't believe her when she says she's hearing strange noises and stuff, that makes her think something's wrong.
"Buffy and her posse soon discover a possible connection between Willow's infant interloper and some strange artifacts Giles found at a local archaeological dig. The evil plaguing Willow was once trapped underground. Now that it has been unearthed by new construction on the property, it's ready to cause some major mischief . . . and worse."
I think this was a good story and it didn't feel taken from any episode of Buffy. I have to say once I got to the end I didn't understand what was going on very much at all . . . I don't know if that was because it had a bad ending so I wasn't really paying attention, or whether I just wasn't paying attention. But I liked it. I would recommend it to any other Buffy fan! As I would recommend any of the books by Mel Odom, Nancy Holder, and Jeff Mariotte.
They're all very good books. They all have their own originality! I would rate it 4 and a half stars and recommend it to any Buffy fan! I think it was a very good book and very unlike anything I've ever read.
