A tale of a bear who comes to a city and finds it so big and overwhelming he forgets why he has visited in the first place. This was a lovely story of a bear who gets lost lonely and confused but eventually finds his happy ending.
The pictures are muted but detailed so there is lots to look at, this could very well be any major city so identifiable with children who live in cities and have never seen a real bear in the wild and assume all of them are friendly and perform musical tricks.
Sadly it was a bit forgettable but not an unpleasant read; if we came across it again in the library I am sure we would have a look at it.
