Mariella Mysteries: A Cupcake Conundrum by Kate Pankhurst- review

'This story was chatty and fun'

This story was chatty and fun. I enjoyed it a lot.

It tells the story of three girls who solve an exciting mystery as well as cooking cakes. I liked the way the writer put what some tricky words meant at the bottom of the pages. I also enjoyed the way it was written like a diary.

My favourite character was Violet Maple because she worked really hard and didn't 'break' in 'bake or break'. I loved the way the book ended by the éclairs' being found out for cheating and how the mystery girls finished their mystery.
