Babies don’t bite by David Bedford – review

Reba and Amatullah: 'This sweet book is ideal for children who are expecting a sibling like Hegley the Horse in this story'

This sweet book is ideal for children who are expecting a sibling like Hegley the Horse in this story. He is excited at the prospect of becoming an older brother but his friends have other ideas. They tell him that babies bite, pull tails and don't like big brothers or sisters. Hegley keeps insisting that 'babies are fab' as he counts down from ten baby rabbits to one adorable baby sister. When he goes to introduce his sister to his friends he finds out that they have also discovered that babies are FAB!

Amatullah loved pointing at and naming all the different baby animals in this book. The illustrations are so cute with the different animal characters and details. We loved all the colourful outfits on the animals and their many expressions.
