Hello Hugless Douglass! by David Melling

Reviewed by Carla, Millennium RIOT Readers

This book is adorable. It is perfect for young children and the illustrations are really cute! I loved it!

Horrible Histories: Terrible Trenches by Terry Deary

Reviewed by Mrs Hodgson, Millennium RIOT Readers

This cover is very eye-catching and inside it is quite good with sharp little quotes on the First World War. The pages are not brilliantly attractive but the facts are interesting!

Middle School: How I Got Lost in London by James Patterson

Reviewed by Sophie, Millennium RIOT Readers

The writing is a decent size for kids and the illustrations are detailed which makes the book even better. It is a very interesting book!

Reviewed by Parkhead Primary Year 3

This book looks so great, I love the front cover. It is really funny and I would use my voucher for it because I would read this again!

The Midnight Picnic by Lauren St John

Reviewed by Annie, Millennium RIOT Readers

It was based very closely to The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This was okay but it wasn't as good as the other books by Lauren St John and I have read all of them. I would recommend this to her younger readers, not teenagers!

Barry Loser: I am Nit Not a Loser by Jim Smith

Reviewed by Jacob, Millennium RIOT Readers

This book is really stupid, but in a funny way. This is an easy read and I would recommend this to readers who are looking for exactly that. Also recommended to anybody who wants a really good laugh as it is very funny!

Jack Pepper by Sarah Lean

Reviewed by Parkhead Primary Year 3s

This book is lovely. It is very cheerful and I would spend my voucher on this!

Some of this book is mixed because some bits are cheerful and some bits are sad. It is magical and good to read though. I love dogs. I would definitely spend my voucher on this.

This is such a good book and I would love to spend my voucher on this as the dog is really cute. I love animal stories, they are my favourite books.

Fun with the Worst Witch by Jill Murphy

Reviewed by Parkhead Primary Year 3

This is really good. It is all about the Worst Witch and has good puzzles and games in it for you to do. I would use my voucher for this because it would keep me busy!

The Boy in the Smoke by Maureen Johnson

Reviewed by David, Millennium RIOT Readers

This book is very creepy and the storyline is full of mystery. It is very interesting and it builds suspense very well. I would definitely use my voucher for this and read it if I was bored, because I like mystery stories.
