This book is very good and has strong characters, an excellent setting and a fairly complicated plot. It isn't that challenging, so it would be a great book for children in their early teens who don't read that much.
The book is set in a dystopian future, where imaginary people are very real. When there has been a mass murder, a group of imaginary 'friends' are the prime suspects.
One imaginary girl, Klaris Cliff, is suspected of going wild (or 'rouge') and a boy has to set out and prove them wrong and find out who framed her.
This book is a good read for fantasy and mystery lovers alike and will help to introduce you to a new type of genre. While it is a very interesting book, I wouldn't recommend it to any avid readers because, while the subject is very interesting, it isn't challenging at all. If a sequel was made and it was longer and more complex then I think it would make an excellent teenage book.
