Jazz-a-mina

Girl, Missing by Sophie McKenzie – review

Jazz-a-mina: 'I loved it!'

This book is about a girl called Lauren who was adopted. She is eager to find out more about her past. She finds out that she may have been snatched from her real family.

As the blurb says: "Suddenly her life feels like a sham, will no one answer her questions? Did her adopted parents kidnap her?"

Lauren runs away to try and find out the truth but her journey takes her into more danger and the people who abducted her will do anything to keep her silent...

This is a good book for children over 12 years-old. Girl, Missing was a winner for the Red House Book Award for older readers, as well as the Bolton Book Award. I loved it!
