Robert – Roskear Reviewers: 'I really enjoyed this book because it was really mysterious; my favourite part was the constant messages through the diary'

Granddad is missing! Where has he gone? What happened to him? Did he go willingly?

North of Nowhere is a modern day mystery full of suspense set in the fictional seaside town of Porthhaven. Once you begin reading you will not want to put this book down! There are lots of clues to tie up as the story unfolds.

Mia, the main character, doesn't want to stay at Gran's house when Granddad goes missing, but does she hold the key to finding him? Mia is a teenager with nothing exiting in her life, but will a holiday be a way to get excited or even more depressed? She is devoted to being helpful and always listens to everybody without thought, but has granddad actually gone missing?

I really enjoyed this book because it was really mysterious; my favourite part was the constant messages through the diary. This is a tale like no other. I recommend it to both adults and children over the age of 6. I rate this a 5 star book.
