I read this book with my son Theo and knew straight away he would love it as it was on one of his favourite subjects, Dinosaurs!
The story was lovely, it was set around a little boy meeting a dinosaur and the two of them playing games together, starting with hide and seek, then Dino dancing and playing in the paddling pool. They couldn't find a game that they were both good at playing so they decided to do what dinosaurs do best - swooping.
Theo could relate to the story as the games are games he enjoys playing, so he laughed when the Dinosaur was too big to hide behind the tree and when he tried to hide under a bench but was still found by the little boy.
The illustrations were lovely and Theo was keen to spot where the Dinosaur was hiding and the house the little boy lived in. I enjoyed reading this book with Theo and would recommend it to others.
