Sadie – Roskear Reviewers

Emily Windsnap and the Siren’s Secret by Liz Kessler – review

Sadie – Roskear Reviewers: 'I would like to recommend this book as it has lots of imagination and could inspire you to write your own book'

Neptune sends Emily and her family back to Brightport to bring together the mer-people and the humans, promising he will remove a curse if they succeed. While looking for answers Emily and Shona find the Sirens, who have their own curse to worry about. The sirens threaten to keep Emily and Shona prisoners.
The main characters are Emily and Shona but there are other characters such as: Aaron, mum, Jake, Mandy, Mr Beeston (who is no longer bad) and the Sirens (but some aren't very nice).

I liked the book for lots of different reasons, but I liked it when they go to Brightport because of how it was set up. I learned that it doesn't matter what sort of personality you've got, for example the mer-people and the humans were split up but never needed to be.
I would like to recommend this book as it has lots of imagination and could inspire you to write your own book. I rate it 4 out of 5.
