Set in America, Trouble Twisters is an exciting book about twins Jaide and Jack. They are both Trouble Twisters with different powers: Jaide's powers are the wind and the sun, Jack's are darkness and shadows. Trouble Twisters are children of wardens who guard people against the EVIL, a creature who turns good people into bad.

The twins are sent to Portland to meet Grandma X. Their Grandma tests them, but when a ward breaks and Grandma X falls into a deep sleep they are put to the ultimate test. A ward is an object with manic enchantments put on it built to protect the city of Portland.

My favourite part is when Jaide and Jack are trying to use their powers to go and fix the ward; they both try but they have to get the cats Ari and Kleo to help them. I liked the character of Kleo because she is a bit bossy but is caring and helps out in times of need.

I loved reading this book and would recommend it to anyone aged 9-11 who likes adventure books.
