Lean in, pivot, up your Elvis – there is no shortage of books, blogs and Ted talks by experts championing techniques which promise to fast track your career. But with so much advice to choose from, how do you decide which guidance is worth your time?

We would like you to share the books, blogs and videos which you have found useful or inspiring in your career or job hunt. Whether it’s a nuts and bolts manual to CV writing, an entertaining blog, a pithy Twitter feed, or the memoirs of an industry leader you particularly admire, we would love to hear your tips and suggestions.

You can do that by taking a picture of the book you love, send us a link to your favourite blog, article or source of wisdom, and briefly explain why other readers should also take an interest.

We will bring together a selection to be published on the Guardian Careers site. The contributions we pick will also be shared across our social media channels.

Share your recommendations and photos by clicking on the blue “Contribute” button on this article. Or use the Guardian app and search for “GuardianWitness assignments” where you can add it to the homepage to keep up with all our assignments.

If you are on Twitter or Instagram, tag your suggestions with #GuardianCareers and we will include a selection here.

  • GuardianWitness is the home of readers’ content on the Guardian. Contribute your video, pictures and stories, and browse news, reviews and creations submitted by others.
