To mark the 70th anniversary of Anne Frank’s death, readers have been celebrating her life and her words against prejudice – which are as necessary as they’ve ever been – in a rather unusual manner: instead of holding a minute of silence, they’ve been recording themselves reading aloud her diary for 60 seconds, and posting on social media with the hashtag #NotSilent.
