THIS REVIEW CONTAINS *Spoilers*

This book was the last in the Divergent trilogy and is safe to say, MAJOR PLOT TWIST! Throughout the book the people of Chicago are discovering this new, or old depending on how you look at it, world. There is a lot of information to take in at one time. With a book like this it would be easier to understand, the second or even third time you read it. I think it was clever how Veronica tied in some family members like Tori's brother and other Divergent people who we thought were murdered.

The speed at which the book progressed was also a little slow but it had some drama. It was quite upsetting the way that Tris and Tobias were fighting quite a lot but it made it all the more fulfilling when they made up. Throughout the entire trilogy I came to fall in love with Uriah. He died. Why?? Lets just say there were lots of tears. Also, poor Tobias blaming himself for Uri's death.

I am normally good at guessing the endings of books/films but then there was Allegiant. I couldn't believe that Tris was dead for at least a week. Veronica Roth has said that this was how she always wanted to end it so I want to support her for this. It just means that Tobias is even more alone. In all it is definitely a good, yet heartbreaking, end to a fantastic series.
