Connor – Millennium RIOT Readers

Villain.net 1: Council of Evil by Andy Briggs – review

Connor – Millennium RIOT Readers: 'I would recommend this book to readers who like action because it was definitely action-packed the whole way through'

This book is the first in the Villain.net series which goes alongside the Hero.com series about kids who download superpowers off the internet and become Heroes. This book is about Jake Hunter who is approached by a strange man who gives him powers if he will work with him against the Heroes. Jake is a bit of a bully and goes along with what the villain wants because of the power he can be given.

I liked this book very much. My favourite character has to be Jake because he was the main character of the story. The story was all about his choices and you find yourself screaming down into the book when he makes the wrong choices as you want him to change. My favourite bit in the story was when Jake stopped the probe because in my head I couldn't work out how he could do it.
I would recommend this book to readers who like action because it was definitely action-packed the whole way through. It was a fairly challenging read because it had so much detail in the story but if it hadn't had that much detail the story would not have been as good!
