When I started reading this book I realised that I could not take my eyes off it. When a boy named Gregory Heffley has an anti-bullying week at his school, his teacher advises the class never to take a cigar when you are offered one and that the person who is giving it to you could even be your best friend.
So thanks to the teacher Greg's best friend Rowley will not even walk on the same pavement as Greg. So then when the "Peachy Breeze Kid" who advertises ice-cream stops, they look for a new person to do it, so Greg goes to the tryouts but he ends up dropping the ice cream out of the cone and failing!
But then when he hears that he is going to the dentist he thinks he will be going to the dentist called Rachel, who Greg has a crush on. It turns out instead that he will be going to Dr. Salazar Kagan, and Greg ends up biting the dentist's finger!!!!! The Heffley's even get a cleaning maid. What could possibly go wrong??
This was a really good book by Jeff Kinney. It has lots of embarrassment. I would recommend this book for ages between 8 and 14.
