Tony Robinson’s Weird World of Wonders: World War II by Tony Robison – review

Luke, Roskear Reviewers: 'I found out lots of different facts'

Before I read this book I thought that this book would be a scary book, however I found out lots of different facts that I didn't know before. For example, young boys practised shooting with guns and throwing grenades. Whereas girls had to make beds, iron the clothes and do the washing.

Another thing I learnt is that when the bombing started most people were still asleep in their beds, unaware of what was about to happen.

I like this book because it is funny when it describes Hitler as a nutter.

I would rate it 5 out of 5 stars.
