JK Rowling has revealed her choice of pseudonym, Robert Galbraith, was inspired by her childhood alter ego, Ella Galbraith. On Robert Galbraith's author website, Rowling revealed: "When I was a child, I really wanted to be called Ella Galbraith, I've no idea why. The name had a fascination for me. I actually considered calling myself LA Galbraith for the Strike series, but for fairly obvious reasons decided that initials were a bad idea." Did you have an alter ego, or imaginary friend as a child? Or did you grow up wishing you were given a different name at birth?
