Rachie: 'I really liked Rihanna as she had a lot of courage proving to all the knights that girls could be just as brave boys'

The Lance Of Truth was an entertaining book that really kept you hooked. At first I didn't know if it was going to be good as I would not usually pick up a book about Camelot and Merlin as I have never been into the Knights of the Round Table and medieval villages but I have to say I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

This story was about Rihanna, a feisty young damsel daughter of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere. Rihanna loves fighting battles and hates big traditional dresses that a young women of her title would usually prefer to wear. King Arthur lies motionless in the walls of Camelot waiting for Rihanna to find the lights to restore life to his body. The king died in battle with his nephew Mordered but Rihanna is determined to restore life to his body using the lights.

If that's not heart-racing enough her mother Queen Guinevere is being held captive by Mordered's men in a tower somewhere along the great wall. Princess Rihanna goes on a quest of fate to find the lights, save her mother and destroy the evil in her way. Knights, friends and magic folk from all lands rush to fight Mordered who has put so many people through pain.

This book was action packed, fun and entertaining. I really liked the character Rihanna as she had a lot of courage and was not willing to give up very easily proving to all the knights that girls could be just as brave boys. I definitely would recommend it to everyone looking for a gripping read and lots of surprises.
