This book was very gladly received by the toddler, bright bold colours on the cover, with a cute bear, immediately a winner.
I think the concept of this book is brilliant, a fish that is made to look like a cat, or a giraffe that looks like a mouse?!
Can you guess what the real animal is, it really gets them thinking but is also fun, I could see Minnie's confused face and then her delight when she lifted the flap up.. And hang on... that isn't a bird.. It's a cat!
Great big flaps for little hands, lift up, to reveal the correct animal (if this came in a board book addition as well that would be even better, as pages can get torn in over eager turning).
Little children will love the surprise of who is under the flaps and older children will delight in being able to guess what the animal actually is!
It also rhymes and was a total joy to read, Minnie really enjoyed this book and has requested it to be read several times.
