Operation Bunny by Sally Gardner – review

SilverRoo: 'It is an enchanting book which shouldn't be read by bunny-hating weirdo's'

Operation Bunny is a fantastic book. Emily Vole was abandoned in a hat box as a baby, and found in a train station. She goes to an orphanage, and by a stroke of luck, gets adopted by Ronald and Daisy Dashwood.

Unfortunately for Emily she is not the ideal daughter Mr and Mrs Dashwood had wished for.

Soon things get even worse for Emily when Mrs Dashwood becomes pregnant with triplets. Then Emily is forced to work as a nanny and cleaner for the Dashwoods.

One day Emily meets talking cat, Fidget, and his kind owner, Miss String, and finds herself in an amazing adventure with fairies, witches and colourful bunnies.

Can Emily save the whole human race from being turned into multi-coloured bunnies?

I love this book so much and it only took me one day to read it. It is an enchanting book which shouldn't be read by bunny-hating weirdos.

If you like mind-boggling adventures filled with brilliant illustrations and strange talking animals, then do not hesitate to pick up this brilliant book.
