Christine and Isobel

Chesney Runs into Trouble and Momo Goes Flying by Kes Gray and Mary McQuillan – review

Christine and Isobel: 'Overall these stories were perfect for the 2 year old and still enjoyed by the 3 year old'

All of my grandchildren love animals, plus playing vets and doctors, so I knew both of these books would be really popular. The stories were easy to follow and not too wordy, hence perfect for the 2 year and 3 year old.

The pictures are great - bold and brightly coloured, which helped capture their attention. They particularly liked the first and last pages with all the characters and they really enjoyed trying to find them throughout the book.

Overall these stories were perfect for the 2 year old and still enjoyed by the 3 year old helping them to think about caring for others and generally fun and eye-catching.
