This book is about a little boy called Nicholas whose family is poor. To try to have free food, they make a mini-farm in the back garden. One day someone comes to make a television programme about the neighbourhood and while they are filming Nicholas's baby brother, Cheese, comes crawling out with nothing on. A lady who sees Cheese's bottom on the programme offers him a part in a nappy advert and this leads to lots of naughtiness in the film studio!

I thought it was really funny (the illustrations too) and I really enjoyed it. I am definitely going to read other books from the same collection starting with My Brother's Hot Cross Bottom.
